Did Bumblebee save Sam and Lennox from Starscream?

There was a scene in Transformer 3: Dark of the Moon when Sam and
Lennox is hanging from Starscream before it exploded. Just when the
both of them fell from the air when Starscream exploded, a
yellow-looking Transformer came out of nowhere to save the two of
them, which in my opinion, is Bumblebee.

What make it strange is that in the next frame, Bumblebee was being
captured as POW.

What is the actual events for T3: DOTM?
